About The Artist

Hello, I am Sheila Caldwell. I live in the pretty coastal town of Pittenweem in Fife, renowned for its Arts Festival each August. I took up painting a few years ago and have delighted in trying out various techniques and working with oils, acrylic, watercolour, inks, encaustic and pastels. Last year I learned how to create pictures with hand felted merino wool which I love. This year I have discovered the pleasure of creating small pictures with seashore finds.

My pastime has grown to be a great interest and I now successfully exhibit at the prestigious Pittenweem Arts Festival each year, and have previously exhibited in the Jerdan Gallery in Crail, Duchess Anne Hall Dunkeld, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Kirkcaldy Museum Art Gallery, Elie Pavilion, Byre Theatre St.Andrews and in my home during the East Neuk Open Studios weekends. I am the membership secretary for East Neuk Open Studios and a member of the St. Andrews Art Club.

Exhibitions in which I am taking part.

To be arranged.
